Ingredients
- 1 tomato
- 2 handfuls of lettuce (about 8 leaves off the outside of an iceberg lettuce)
- 1/2 a cucumber
- 1/2 a tin of kernel corn
- 1 heaped teaspoon of Marmite
Method
- Stack the lettuce leaves on each other, chop them in half, and then into 1cm thick strips, and put into a large bowl
- Dice up the tomato and cucumber, drain the corn, and add all to the bowl with the lettuce
- Spoon the Marmite in, using bits of lettuce to clean the last bits off the spoon
- Let sit covered for 20 minutes while the juices all mix in
- Give the bowl a bit of a shake and a stir - the tomato, cucumber and corn juice should mix with the marmite to make a thin savoury dressing that covers everything
